This is not a required performance, but will be a great opportunity to serve in our community. The Parker Adventist Hospital and the NewDay Church partner together to provide a Christmas Store for needy families in the area. Families who have been invited to participate come to the Christmas store for their children to pick out Christmas gifts for themselves and their families. The Healing Arts Department of the Rocky Mountain Region of Advent Health has asked us to come and provide some holiday entertainment in the Parker Adventist Hospital cafeteria as the families are waiting for their children. Our time slot is on Sunday, December 8, from 4-5 pm. The address is 9395 Crown Crest Blvd. Parker, CO 80138. This is an exciting opportunity to spread some Christmas cheer. Our MS Band will play, and our MS Choir will participate as well. Attire is casual and festive. No pajamas, please.

All-School Talent Show – January 25, 6:00 PM, MHA Gym
Join us for our second annual MHA Talent Show! This year’s event will feature unique and creative performances by our talented students. In addition to individual and group acts, the Music Department (led by Mrs. Miranda) is proud to showcase each school level:

* Lower School: Kindergarten performing with Boomwhackers
* Middle School: A song featuring all Middle School students
* Upper School: A performance by the Upper School Orchestra

Students in these featured group acts do not need to pay admission or participation fees. However, fees apply for any additional individual or group acts. Prizes will be awarded in categories like Most Creative, Funniest, Best Individual Act, and more. The class with the most participants will win donuts from Mrs. Miranda, and the school with the highest participation will enjoy a day off music class for some outdoor fun!

Proceeds from the Talent Show will support our Upper School Music Trip in April. Tickets can be purchased online here. Please also plan for a Talent Show rehearsal on Friday, January 24, from 12:30–1:30 PM in the gym.

Lower School Mile High Sabbath in MHA Gym. We will perform for an inaugural gathering of 3 constituent churches (MHA sponsor churches) entitled Mission Summit: Our Calling to Serve and Share. There will be festivities Friday evening and all day Sabbath that all are invited to attend. We will perform for the worship gathering that begins at 11:15 AM. International potluck lunch to follow.
